Organic Banana Flakes and Dices from Global Organics are obtained from fresh, organic bananas (primarily the Cavendish variety). The bananas are cleaned, peeled and air dried with a relative humidity and speed constant to preserve nutrients, texture and color. The dried banana is either crushed into small flakes or cut into dices and sprinkled with organic banana flour to avoid dice agglomeration. Flakes can be reconstituted with water in a 1:3 ratio to be used like fresh mashed banana.
