These small, golden brown caramel bits are made without added ingredients like sulfites and 4-MEI that are common in other caramel products meeting California PROP 65. They have a distinctive aroma and flavor of caramelized cane sugar with buttery dairy notes and a toffee, or dulce de leche, flavor. You can trust that every bite will have the same great flavor.

Description

Organic Caramel Specialty, known as Caramel Flakes, is made using carefully controlled heat treatment of organic sugar, organic glucose syrup, organic cream, and organic butter. Once the caramelization process is complete, the product is crushed into flakes and sieved to ensure consistent flake size. Our caramel product boasts a unique aroma and flavor, characterized by the rich and caramelized notes of cane sugar, complemented by hints of buttery dairy notes.
