Coconut flower sap, collected daily by tappers in Java (Indonesia), is boiled down and concentrated and granulated to Coconut Sugar. A coconut palm produces almost 5 liters of sap daily! With a palm lasting over 5 decades, this is one of the most sustainable sweeteners on the planet. As a true agro-forestry product, the sugar provides vital economic benefits to farmers and helps preserve forest lands. Coconut Sugar is a traditional sugar that is used by the locals for centuries in all their sauces, foods and drinks. The product has no additives.
